How can we help?

Help with face detection, masks, video editing, and saving your results on iPhone and iPad.

Contact technical support

Email support@leidong.online for questions, bug reports, or privacy requests. You can also open More options → Feedback in XBlur to send a short report.

For an email reply, contact us by email. In-app feedback does not automatically include an email address.

Please include your device model, iOS/iPadOS version, XBlur version and build, steps to reproduce the issue, and any error message. For video issues, the approximate duration, resolution, and file format help. Describe the issue first; you do not need to send private media.

Getting started

  1. Choose Blur Photo or Blur Video and select your media.
  2. Review detected faces and choose which masks to enable.
  3. Adjust the style, shape, size, and strength, or use Add mask to cover another area.
  4. Review the whole result, then tap Save. Save to Photos or use the system share sheet.

Frequently asked questions

Some faces were missed. What should I do?

Small, obscured, side-facing, or fast-moving faces can be missed. Try a more thorough mode in Detection Settings and add manual masks where needed. Automatic detection is a starting point; check the entire photo or video before sharing.

Detection is taking a long time.

More thorough modes inspect more frames and image regions. Try a faster mode, or Manual mode to skip automatic detection. Keep XBlur open while processing. If processing appears stuck, cancel and try again; email support if the problem persists.

How do I move a mask through a video?

Place a manual mask at its starting position, move to a later frame, and reposition it to create a keyframe. Review the movement between keyframes. Adjust a track's handles to set its start and end, or press and hold the track to edit frame numbers.

A video preview is black, rotated, stuck, or shows an error.

Pause the video and reopen the saved project from Recent projects. If it continues, close and reopen XBlur and check for an available app update. Send the exact error, device and system version, video format, duration, and whether the issue happens after seeking or changing a mask. Avoid deleting the project until you have saved anything you need.

I cannot save or export.

Check available device storage and allow XBlur to add items to Photos in system Settings when prompted. Keep XBlur open and the screen unlocked during export. If saving to Photos is unavailable, try Share to save the exported file elsewhere. Tell support the error message if exporting still fails.

How do crop and aspect ratio work?

Open Crop / Ratio and choose a photo or video. Use Crop to select an area, or choose Original, 9:16, 4:5, 16:9, or 1:1. Extra space can be filled with a blurred background; set its strength to zero for black.

Where are my projects stored?

Projects are stored locally and appear in Recent projects. Reopen one to continue editing, rename it, or delete it. Deleting a draft does not delete the original file in Photos. Deleting the app removes app data, but not files already saved to Photos.

Are my photos or face data uploaded?

No. XBlur performs media editing and face analysis on your device. Optional feedback sends your written message and app details, without automatically attaching media or face data. Read the privacy policy for details, including website logs.

Does XBlur add a watermark or require a subscription?

XBlur does not add a watermark and currently has no advertisements or subscriptions.
